This Christmas and birthday was my first spent away from my parents and little sister. The thought of celebrating the holidays without them was a little depressing at first, but then positive thinking kicked in and decided it was a good change and a first to celebrate with friends this year.
Christmas was spent at my Aunt’s place, with delicious asian food and shopping with my cousins. It was nice to still have some family to spend time with.
My birthday started with a much needed spa day, followed by a delicious dinner with fantastic people in K-Town, and ended with a home made French Silk pie (which is impossible to find in LA).
All in all, I would say it was a pretty good time 🙂
