It’s only Tuesday, and already I am feeling behind on my work.
Running a business, is everything but simple.
I have (finally) started to tackle my business plan. And I remembered why I kept putting it off.
It takes forever! And, incorporating my thought with the financial aspect of planning, is not my forte.
I’ve tried writing it from scrap, from templates, and from different examples. I just can’t seem to make it”flow”.
So i checked out this website that is suppose to help make business plan writing simple: www.liveplan.com
It’s $19.95 a month if you pay monthly, and $11.66 in you pay for an entire year. It helps you track your business progress and aid in writing a pitch to investors.
It sounded great, so I signed up for it.
SO far, it’s been OK. It does not seem too different than using a template. But I have not gotten to the financial planning portion of it. I think that is where LivePlan will be the most help in.
I do wish there were more customization available in choosing a structure that is suitable for a specific type of business (Clothing vs food vs service ). That is where a lot of my problems lie, deciding what sections and information to leave out and what to keep.
I will play around with it more, and I will update.
If anyone has used Live Plan, I would love it if you shared your thoughts on it!
