I’ve been meaning to write about this for a while now.
A couple weeks ago I attended Simply Stylist. It’s an event founded by Sarah Boyd to bring like minded people together. It isn’t just for Bloggers, but for designers, stylists, and entrepreneurs.
This years event was at the Grove, and hosted by Catt Sadler. The speakers ranged from Alessandra Ambrosio, to Mary Alice Haney, to Wendy Nguyen from Wendy’s Look book.
There were three types of tickets available: VIP, Fashion Beauty Lover, and Social Butterfly. I could not make it to the VIP Brunch so I ended up purchasing the Fashion and Beauty Lover ticket.
If you love to network, I suggest signing up for the VIP tickets. It really gives you a more personal experience. The Fashion Beauty Lover is an better option if you are more interested in the speakers. The social butterfly, well that is good if you just want to meet some cool people.
Thoughts on this conference:
It was a lot of fun; there were delicious foods, fancy cocktails, massage and hair lounges. The Grove is always beautiful. I do wish it could have been a little more educational and sightly less promotional. I had so many questions that were not answered. Next year, I am definitely going try and make the VIP brunch to see if the entire experience would be any different.
Have you guys attended Simply Stylist? If so, what was your experience?
